In the 1990s, a Canadian researcher showed how the learning ability and life quality of hyperactive children can be improved by a specialized diet. The results were groundbreaking and captured the attention of Indevex, a biotechnology company specialized in developing natural nutrition solutions to be used as part of the treatment of to be used as diet interventions in certain conditions.
Tests and pilot studies showed how a special combination of proteins, carbohydrates and fat (NGC™ nutrition formula) had a positive effect on various health conditions, such as obesity, diabetes and malnutrition.
In the beginning of 2000, the foundation of the now patented NGC™ technology was laid. Indevex conducted extensive research and verification work together with a team from Lund University.
